In schools across Laventille and Morvant, Trinidad, 183 students took part in an evaluation of A.R.R.O.W. during the 2021–2022 school year.
After approximately 8–10 hours of intervention, students showed average improvements equivalent to:
📖 9 months of reading progress
✏️ 6 months of spelling progress
Additionally in Jamaica, the Literacy Education Acceleration Programme (LEAP) pilot in 2023 also provided a strong test of A.R.R.O.W., where students using the programme were seen twice as likely to improve their reading level as students in a control group.
These findings offer important evidence for the potential of multisensory, student-centred approaches, including A.R.R.O.W.’s Self-Voice Technique, to support learners experiencing literacy challenges.
